React Job: Full Stack Developer

CBS Inc. is seeking a full-stack developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside other enthusiastic engineers to develop web applications and APIs/microservices. You will collaborate with all stakeholders to design and deliver the best possible technology solutions.

What will you do?

• Develop code using Typescript, Node, React, MongoDB, and other related technologies
• Create web-based interfaces and reusable interface components with Typescript and React
• Develop APIs using Node.js (preferred) and work on web apps (Slack) to fix bugs and implement new features
• Develop and support projects working in computer vision
• Optimize applications for maximum usability and function
• Design highly scalable and extensible services
• Create estimates for given tasks/features
• Design the front end with the industry's best practices

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have skills:

• Strong proficiency in MERN stack (React, Express, Node.JS, and MongoDB).
• Good working knowledge in on-prem and/or public cloud and deployment.
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL
• Experience with modern dev-ops techniques experience is a must.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with Object-Oriented-Programming languages, such as Python, Go (Golang)
• Expertise with one or more databases and related technologies (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kafka)

And it would be desirable if you also have these soft skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Pro-active position
• Experience in a start-up environment is strongly preferred

Contract Details:

• Hourly rate: $25-27 per hour
• Contract duration: 4 months, with the potential for extension or transition to a full-time position
• Working hours: up to 40 hours per week

As a company, we place a high value on teamwork and transparency. While we work remotely, our team members are well-connected. We expect the candidate to be available for communication at least four hours a day in the MST time zone to help support our work activities.
